About changes in labor law and parental rights

Next year, the rules concerning the conclusion of fixed-time employment contracts will change, as will parental rights. The 11th edition of workshops held as part of the “INVEST-PARK” HR CLUB was devoted to these issues.

Beginning in 2016, new regulations specifying the conclusion of different types of employment contracts as well as granting parental and child care leaves will come into force. During the last meeting of the WSEZ “INVEST-PARK” HR Managers’ Club, these changes were explained by Piotr Wojciechowski, a lawyer, an independent expert in labor law and a former labor inspector.

It has already been the 11th meeting of the Club, which groups managers and specialists from companies functioning in the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone. The meetings are held at least once a quarter and take on the form of workshops and discussions. The subject of each meeting depends on the current local and global trends in HR.

“We have been meeting for two years already. I am very pleased to see that each next meeting attracts a larger number of participants. Thank you for your involvement,” said Barbara Kaśnikowska, President of the WSEZ “INVEST-PARK”.

The WSEZ is planning two organize two more meetings this year.
