We would like to invite you to participate in the second edition of the Lower Silesian competition “Business Stars”. Entries can be submitted in six categories: Micro Company, Small Company, Medium-sized Company, Family Company, Socially Responsible Company, and Business-friendly Self-government. The Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone co-organizes the event.
The competition is organized by the Wałbrzych Regional Fund. The competition is open, free of charge, to entities based in Lower Silesia or conducting business activity here, such as entrepreneurs, self-government units, institutions, and organizations promoting entrepreneurship. The entries must be sent by 4 April, 2016.

The completed entry forms should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or delivered in person to the seat of FRW Media Group Sp. z o.o., Rynek 38, 58-100 Świdnica. The winners will be selected by the Award Committee comprising independent representatives of economic entities and institutions. All winners will receive prestigious statuettes designed by Dorota Dziekiewicz-Pilich, an artist who also designed the Fryderyk music industry awards.
The final gala of “Business Stars 2016” will be held at the Old Mine Science and Art Centre in Wałbrzych on Friday, 22 April. It will be attended by entrepreneurs, self-government members, artists, politicians and other notable personalities. The star of the night will be the outstanding vocalist John Porter.

The event will be held under the honorary patronage of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, the Marshal of Dolnośląskie Province and the Governor of Dolnośląskie Province.
Winners of the previous edition:The prestigious statuettes of Business Stars 2015 were awarded to: Suhorovsky Design Sp. z o.o. (Micro Company category), Geotrade Sp. z o.o. (Small Company), Frankonia-Poland Sp. z o.o. (Medium-sized Company), SKC Haas Polska Sp. z o.o. (Socially Responsible Company). The town of Świdnica received an award in the Business-friendly Self-government category, Abe Grupa Kreatywna Małgorzata Jaskólska won in the “First Business” category while Dariusz Miłek, who is responsible for the CCC group’s success, triumphed as the Personality.
