The Ministry of Economy awarded schools and entrepreneurs from Dolnośląskie Province operating in Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone. The statues are a reward for realizing projects of vocational education adapted to the needs of employers.
The resort’s awards were handed during the conference “Wiser. How to teach and train for economy”. Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone also gave financial awards for students and teachers.
A company from Nowa Ruda – ZPAS – and The Technical School in Nowa Ruda cooperate to widen student’s theoretical knowledge by practical abilities and contact with new technologies. Pupils have the possibility to take part in training periods and probations in facilities of ZPAS S.A and ZPAS-NET.
In The School Complex in Strzegom a bakery class was created. Three year learning period will cover also practical classes in FSB Piekarnie Strzegom (FSB Strzegom Bakeries). At school there is a specialized bakery lab. Its renovation was financed by FSB.
Daicel Safety System Europe cooperating with Polytechnic School Complex “Energetyk” organize training periods for future electricians. Students during a 4-week period work in each department of the company.
The history of cooperation between Toyota Motor Manufacturing Poland and School Complex number 5 reaches back to the origins of the company’s functioning in Wałbrzych. So far the company passed over for the school’s purposes robotic machines, models of a gearbox and an engine, a Toyota Avensis car that found its place in the school’s workshops. The School Complex number 5 also cooperates with the Faurecia factory in Wałbrzych for which they both received a prize of “VOCATIONAL OSCAR” from the Ministry of National Education.
