A production floor belonging to ILPEA, a manufacturer of components for the domestic appliances industry, was destroyed in a fire. More than 600 people were employed at the company’s facility in Chełstówek near Twardogóra. Janusz Piechociński, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, visited the facility and promised aid for the company and the employees.
Education for high-fliers
A hexacopter, or a drone propelled by six rotors, was built by robotics enthusiasts during their meetings at the Świdnica Youth Culture Center. The project was made possible thanks to the support of the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone „INVEST-PARK”.
A tasty investment
The construction of Past Food Company’s new facility in the Opole subzone of the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone cost more than 80 million zlotys. The company will produce lasagna, especially for the Biedronka chain of stores. The facility in Opole is the most modern factory belonging to the French-Belgian corporation.
New jobs in Bolesławiec
At least 50 people will be employed by Favorite Gifts Print Europe.
