Picnic with the Zone
Competitions with prizes, sports and arts games, performances by local bands and Mesajah’s concert – these are but a few of the attractions of the Zone Family Picnic. Visitors from Ukraine in the WSEZ
Mayors of two Ukrainian cities, Boryslav and Dymytrov, visited the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone “INVEST-PARK” and Cersanit’s tile factory. The guests stayed in Wałbrzych from 20 to 25 April.
More jobs in the WSEZ
Over 70 million zlotys will be invested by the company CEDROB in the Kluczbork Subzone of the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone. Thanks to the investment, 70 people will be employed. The Polish company will build and equip a production plant for making and storing ready-made feeds for farm animals.
ifm begins construction
Around 100 engineers will be employed at the R&D center that is being built by ifm ecolink in Opole. “It is one of those rare cases when a German company invests in technology development in Poland,” the company’s president Andrzej Durdyn said. More than 1,000 tons of steel are eaten up each week by the construction of Volkswagen’s new plant in Wielkopolskie Province. In its proximity, the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone owns almost 100 ha of land waiting for investors wishing to apply for tax exemptions.
Business Stars in WSEZ
SKC Haas, a company operating within the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone, has won the Business Stars competition in the “Socially Responsible Business” category. Among the “Medium-sized Companies”, ZPAS-NET was the runner-up.

Another investor in Nowa Ruda
More than 10 million zlotys will be invested by Framo Morat, a German manufacturer of gear technology components. The company will also employ at least 40 workers in the Nowa Ruda subzone of the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone.
