Around PLN 650 million will be spent by Toyota in the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone. The investment projects will be connected with launching the production of hybrid gearboxes and new petrol engines. As a result of the investment, the corporation has declared to generate at least 100 new jobs.
Self-government congress in Opole

Sitech begins the production for Volkswagen
The Sitech company is about to begin the production of car seats for Volkswagen in Września. Sitech’s facility is located in a production hall built by the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone in close proximity to the premises owned by the German motorization giant. Volkswagen’s subsidiary is going to employ over 80 people.
New jobs in the Wałbrzych zone
Over 400 jobs will be generated by 16 entrepreneurs who have decided to invest in the Wałbrzych zone in the first half-year of 2016. Rhenus invests in Bolesławiec
More than 200 jobs will be created at Rhenus’s facility in Bolesławiec. The German company’s Logistics Center will cost around PLN 82 million. It has already been the tenth investor in the Bolesławiec subzone of the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone.
Second edition of Business Mixer
More than 200 entrepreneurs from all over Poland participated in the second edition of INVEST-PARK Business Mixer, which was organised by the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone. It was the largest event of this kind in Lower Silesia, which provided an excellent opportunity to establish business contacts.
